Facetem S is a sterile, biocompatible Class III medical device in the form of an implantable gel with a lattice-pore structure. It consists of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) suspended in a polymer gel carrier. The device is designed using gradual surface biodegradation technology, which ensures the mechanical stability of the implant and a predictable profile for tissue stimulation release. The preparation is fully eliminated from the body via physiological resorption.
