Supernova Nebula ACTO2 Orion Strong is a sterile, biphasic Class I medical device (CE certified) designed for advanced chemoexfoliation of problematic skin. The preparation, based on 14% trichloroacetic acid (tca), is engineered for the clinical therapy of moderate to severe acne lesions and the reduction of acne scars. The mechanism of action utilizes controlled protein coagulation of the epidermis and dermis to force deep tissue remodeling, supported by the pfc oxygenating system.
Mechanism of Action
-
intensive keratolysis and remodeling (tca 14%): high-concentration trichloroacetic acid induces deep exfoliation and stimulates cell division in the basal layer, leading to the smoothing of scars and evening of skin texture
-
metabolic optimization (perfluorocarbons): pfcs increase the availability of molecular oxygen at the treatment site, accelerating re-epithelialization processes and minimizing the risk of post-procedural complications in skin burdened by inflammation
-
inhibition of bacterial processes (mandelic acid): the antibacterial action of mandelic acid reduces c. acnes colonization, which is critical in neutralizing active acne lesions
-
sebum secretion regulation (azeloglycine): this azelaic acid derivative acts as a sebo-static and anti-inflammatory agent, normalizing the function of the pilosebaceous unit and reducing post-inflammatory erythema
-
stabilization of repair processes (vitamin b12): cyanocobalamin alleviates neurogenic inflammation induced by the strong acid peel and supports the rapid restoration of the skin's protective barrier
Indications and Intended Use
The device is intended for use by authorized medical personnel for:
-
active acne treatment: reduction of pustular and papular lesions of moderate to severe intensity
-
acne scar correction: mechanical and biological smoothing of the skin's micro-relief
-
reduction of deep post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (pih): evening skin tone through forced cellular renewal
-
therapy for enlarged sebaceous gland openings: pore tightening and improvement of seborrheic skin quality
-
preparation for resurfacing procedures: conditioning the tissue prior to advanced revitalization
