Supernova Nebula ACTO2 is a sterile, biphasic Class I medical device (CE certified) designed for professional chemoexfoliation and biorevitalization. The preparation combines the activity of an acid complex (tca, mandelic acid, azeloglycine) with a carrier phase enriched with oxygen and vitamin b12. The mechanism of action is based on the controlled injury of the upper epidermal layers while simultaneously ensuring intensive oxygen diffusion to the tissues, which accelerates repair processes and optimizes the structure of the dermis.
Mechanism of Action
-
controlled chemoexfoliation (tca 10%): low-concentration trichloroacetic acid induces selective coagulation of epidermal proteins, stimulating fibroblasts for neocollagenesis without prolonged patient downtime
-
oxygen biostimulation (perfluorocarbons): pfcs act as molecular oxygen carriers, increasing the partial pressure of oxygen in the tissues, which improves cellular metabolism and alleviates the inflammatory response post-peel
-
keratinization regulation and sebo-statics (mandelic acid): mandelic acid gently loosens the bonds between corneocytes while exhibiting antibacterial activity and reducing the visibility of enlarged sebaceous gland openings
-
vascular modulation and soothing (azeloglycine): this azelaic acid derivative inhibits tyrosinase activity and reduces erythema, improving parameters for vascular-prone and discoloration-prone skin
-
regeneration and trophicity support (vitamin b12): cyanocobalamin acts as a cofactor in cell division processes, accelerating epidermal re-epithelialization and evening out skin tone by improving microcirculation
Indications and Intended Use
The device is intended for use by authorized personnel to:
-
structural skin texture improvement: smoothing the micro-relief and reducing superficial irregularities
-
photoaging and dyschromia therapy: brightening epidermal discoloration and evening out skin tone
-
revitalization of hypoxic skin: detoxification of smoker's skin and skin fatigued by environmental factors
-
problematic skin care: reducing post-inflammatory lesions and regulating sebum secretion
-
post-exposure regeneration support: activation of repair processes in tissues with superficial damage
