Juvéderm® Volift Lidocaine is a sterile, apyrogenic gel implant based on cross-linked hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin. The device utilizes Vycross™ technology, which—through an optimal combination of short- and long-chain hyaluronic acid molecules—provides high cohesivity, plasticity, and reduced hygroscopicity (minimizing post-operative edema). The preparation contains lidocaine hydrochloride, acting as an ancillary substance to alleviate pain during injection.
Indications and Intended Use
The device is intended for injection to:
Provide mechanical correction of deep skin depressions, furrows, and folds (e.g., nasolabial folds, marionette lines).
Restore lost soft tissue volume in the mid-face.
Model facial contours and fill deficiencies in the temple area.
Provide mechanical volume correction of the vermillion border (lips).
Fill tissue deficiencies on the dorsal surface of the hands to improve their structural smoothness.

Technical Parameters and Mechanism of Action
Cross-linked sodium hyaluronate at a concentration of 17.5 mg/ml acts as a stable filling implant within the extracellular space. Vycross™ technology enables a high-plasticity gel, allowing for natural tissue integration while maintaining strong lifting properties. The inclusion of lidocaine hydrochloride (0.3%) provides a local anesthetic effect. The estimated duration of the preparation in the tissue is up to 15 months; however, this period is subject to anatomical location, injection technique, and the patient's individual physiological characteristics.
