MonoDerma Fillagen is a sterile, apyrogenic Class III medical device in the form of a viscoelastic gel, designed for deep soft tissue biostimulation. The preparation is based on the synergistic action of low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, recombinant Type I collagen chain (R-collagen), and matrikines. The device functions as a mechanical scaffold that optimizes the extracellular matrix (ECM) microenvironment and induces repair processes as well as the biosynthesis of skin supporting fibers.

fibroplasia stimulation: R-collagen (derived from silkworms) provides biomimetic amino acid sequences that stimulate fibroblast proliferation and the induction of endogenous procollagen and elastin synthesis
metabolic activation: the matrikines (low-molecular-weight peptides) contained in the formula act as signaling messengers that activate repair and metabolic processes in dermal cells
hydrodynamic stabilization: low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid acts as a hygroscopic space-occupying implant, providing immediate hydration of interstitial structures and improving turgor
structural protection of the implant: carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) limits the activity of endogenous hyaluronidase, which stabilizes the physical structure of the preparation and extends the duration of mechanical tissue support
