Fillmed M-HA 18 is a sterile, biocompatible Class III medical device in the form of a viscoelastic solution of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid stabilized with glycerol. The preparation, containing 18 mg/ml HA and 20 mg/ml glycerol, is designed for precise skin hydro-restructuring and the correction of superficial structural defects. Through the synergy of its active ingredients, the device restores physiological water homeostasis in the tissues, resulting in increased extracellular matrix density and mechanical smoothing of the epidermal micro-relief.
Mechanism of Action

iso-osmotic hydro-balancing: high concentrations of free hyaluronic acid immediately bind water molecules in the dermis, increasing turgor and restoring volume to dehydrated tissues

stabilization and protection (glycerol): the presence of glycerol at a concentration of 20 mg/ml serves an antioxidant and protective function for ha molecules, prolonging their presence in the tissue and sealing the epidermal hydro-lipid barrier

superficial bioremodeling: the device induces the metabolic activity of fibroblasts, leading to the biosynthesis of structural proteins and the physical densification of the papillary layers of the skin
