NEAUVIA Intense Lips is a sterile, apyrogenic hydrogel implant designed for soft tissue modeling in the lip area. The device is based on cross-linked hyaluronic acid of non-pathogenic origin (Bacillus subtilis), cross-linked with PEG polymer using IPN (Interpenetrating Polymer Network) technology. This formula provides high flexibility of the polymer chains, resulting in exceptional resistance of the preparation to cyclic mechanical stresses arising from the physiological mimicry of the lips.
indications and intended use
The device is intended for administration via injection by authorized medical personnel to:
-
volumetric lip correction: provide mechanical volume enhancement of the vermillion border
-
modeling and contouring: define the mucocutaneous junction and the cupid's bow
-
soft tissue revitalization: improve the structure and hydro-balance of the lip tissue
-
asymmetry correction: provide physical alignment of proportions between the upper and lower lips
mechanism of action
Sodium hyaluronate at a concentration of 24 mg/ml acts as a plastic space-occupying implant. Thanks to the IPN technology, the hydrogel exhibits high cohesivity, preventing migration and allowing for the maintenance of natural tissue dynamics. The use of PEG as a cross-linking agent minimizes the risk of inflammatory and immunological reactions while increasing the product's stability against enzymatic and thermal biodegradation, ensuring a long-lasting supportive effect.
